方法

prefer to … rather than：寧愿…而不愿…

例句：Prefer to?die rather than surrender.寧死不屈。

prefer + to do sth. + rather than + do sth.："寧愿做......而不愿做......"。當這一結構中prefer后接動詞不定式時， rather than后面接不帶to的不定式結構，rather than引導的不帶to的不定式結構還可以置于句首

prefer + sb. + (not) to do sth.："寧愿某人（不）做某事"。在意義上相當于would like sb. (not)?to do sth. 。

prefer + n.(pron.) / V-ing + to + n. (pron.) / V-ing："寧愿（喜歡）......而不愿（喜歡）......"。注意：這一結構中的to為介詞，后接名詞、代詞或動名詞。
